Types of Skin Cancer :-
There are three types of skin cancer:-
1. Basal cell carcinoma (BCC)
2. Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC)
3. Melanoma
Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) :- BCC is the most common type of skin cancer. Its looks like a spot or dry rough area that may be red, pale or pearly in color. It starts up on on the neck, arms, face and upper body. 75% people are affected from skin cancers.
Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) :- Squamous cell carcinoma is a type of cancer that begins in squamous cell. It looks like a thin, flat cells, fish scales. It may occur skin, lips, mouth, esophagus, urinary bladder, prostate, lungs, vagina. 200,000 Americans affects each year from SCC.
Melanoma :- Melanoma is dangerous type of skin cancer. Melanoma usually begins from a mole. Pigment cells placed among the layers of the skin that change in size, color, borders, or shape.
Symptoms of Skin Cancer:-
Small spots on the skin that is shiny, waxy, pale in color.
Red spots on the skin
Dry and rough patches on the skin.
Flat, thin, scaly areas of the skin that are red or brown..
How to Prevent Skin Cancer;-
- Use sunscreen lotions
- Wear long sleeves and a wide-brimmed hat.
- Wear sunglasses, tightly interwoven clothes when in the sun.
- Do self-examine of your body.
