Eczema is a infection of the skin it can effect any part of the body. Eczema is Greek word that means 'to boil over'. It is also known as Dermatitis. Red dry, itchy, hot, cracked or small water blisters on the skin are the main symptoms of eczema. Eczema generally occurs on the face, neck,insides of the elbows, knees, and ankles. Types of Eczema:-
Atopic eczema:- (atopic dermatitis): Atopic eczema is the most common type of eczema. Contact dermatitis:- A skin infection caused by direct contact with a body with one of many irritants or allergens. The irritants like rubber, metals, jewelry, perfume, cosmetics, laundry soap, skin soap and cleaning products.
Varicose eczema :- Varicose eczema affects the lower legs of an individual . It is cause by poor blood circulation.
Stasis dermatitis :- This type of eczema effects the calves, ankles and feet in people who have varicose veins that produce poor blood circulation in the lower legs.
